Dave you critized the black and white attitude before. It seems that you are the only one in this discussion that has this problem. We just discussed the negative aspects of LSO/LRO and then get accused of being maniac. The main problem is the categorical NO to TOE that we keep hearing. We can do LRO no problem. Why is it so difficult to allow the TCP layer to support the offload capabilities? And -by the way- it seems that LRO is patented. Hope you made arrangements for Linux to use that technology?
