New Guitar Music https://youtu.be/JiXR2IsKEvE video 1949 di Giorgio guitar solos / as I've mentioned elsewhere, I've had this instrument since 1967 or so and it continues to challenge me / as I've mentioned previously, it had around 17 small cracks when I purchased it, and still has them, all repaired of course, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, for decades now endangered, but this was earlier, the top oddly laminated, repaired for me by a crafts-person who also made some of Segovia's instruments, and so forth, it's been used on almost all my recordings, the guitar signed and numbered by the maker, I almost wrote _makar_ which resonates also with William Dunbar who wrote one of my favorite poems ever, Lament for the Makaris, late 15th early 16th century, the refrain 'Timor Mortis conturbat me.' still haunting, more- so as I age, as the guitar does not, my long time companion, always a friend, always prescient, I have seen none like it, I never will again - _______________________________________________ NetBehaviour mailing list [email protected] https://lists.netbehaviour.org/mailman/listinfo/netbehaviour
