The Old World of the Future http://www.alansondheim.org/theoldworldofthefuture.jpg Sometimes words are just a stub for the real; sometimes images are just an expansion or grounding of words, and of course, neither, neti neti and so on and so forth, in this case, so forward and backward, industrial meets the expanding sun blurring and consuming the ashes of the already ashen earth. O Grandeur of the industrial matrix! O Grandeur of the Matrix itself! This is the same sun that could not, ever, cut through the cloud and despair of our species quickly heading down the road to Armageddon, everyone catching up with nuclear for example, what _clansing,_ what new species, what vanishes. Perhaps the sauropods had war we never dreamed of. Perhaps a sentence ends with a preposition with nothing to change for. Perhaps language is nothing to bask in. The photograph is a glimmer of the infinitely small as if 19th-century industrial expansion led somewhere desirable, In the midnight of the day, everything - sun soon, bridge, water, building - _looms._ Humanity's new role is to go forth whenever and whatever it can. _______________________________________________ NetBehaviour mailing list [email protected] https://lists.netbehaviour.org/mailman/listinfo/netbehaviour
