Hello,
Can a SNMP v3 username contain an "_"?
When I write a createUser command on etc\snmp\snmpd.conf file like
createUser plain_User MD5 mypassword
and restart the agent, the persistent conf file at snmp\persist\snmpd.conf
replaces it with a usmUser command; but with the username as a number, not
plaintext as normally seen. Authentication is not happening in such a case.
Please help.
