I need to implement linkup/down traps is my agent, but I'm not sure
which OIDs I should put in those traps. As it says in IF-MIB, traps
should contain 3 bindings: ifIndex, ifOperStatus and ifAdminStatus. But
am I to append interface index to the end of OIDs in a trap?
In other words, what is correct filling for up/down traps
1)
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1(ifIndex) = 41,
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.7(ifAdminStatus) = 1,
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8(ifOperStatus) = 2
or
2)
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.41(ifIndex.41) = 41,
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.7.41(ifAdminStatus.41) = 1,
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8.41(ifOperStatus.41) = 2
