Thanks a lot for the reply. 
                                            Our sub agent was receiving a 
SIGPIPE from agent. Once we start handling that signal, we are in a better 
position now.

snmpd will never kill the subagent.  It may sever the connection, but it won't 
kill the subagent.  It's likely that your subagent has a different problem 
somewhere in the code.
