Roadmap for SharpZipLib from
http://wiki.sharpdevelop.net/default.aspx/SharpZipLib.RoadMap

Says it doesn't currently support symbolic links, but is on their plate of
things to do.

SharpZipLib roadmap

Right now:

Complete refactoring of encryption code for Zip files
Rework so WINCE can be used again.
Ability to add, modify and delete entries in a Zip file.
Fix zipping so 4GB limit is achievable
And of course the odd bug or two possibly...

Next:

Zip64. A fair bit of code has already been done

Unix/Linux Symbolic Link support. Another item that may require a fair bit
of code, but since GZip supports this, it should not be a problem.

Things to do:

Features to add

Deflate64
Better examples
SFX for zip files
Possibly add LZW decompression

Stephen,

We don't have this on our radar right now, and I've actually never looked
into this. Does #ziplib (the compression library we use) support symbolic
links ?
