Our NAnt builds started failing after I installed and played with CruiseControl.Net. The specific problem was that NAnt was pickup up log4net.dll for some of our projects from the one in the Temporary ASP.Net folder (sound familiar?). This is in spite of the fact that Visual Studio on the same project has no problem, and that the hintpath is correct and the file really exists at the hintpath. The fact that it's log4net.dll just appears to be a coincidence (albeit a common one).

I vaguely recall a problem related to uplevel references in relative hintpaths, perhaps just those that were more than one level deep. I can't find that now. I'm using a build from July 24, so perhaps it's time to upgrade again, but in the meantime, if anyone recognizes these symptoms, please let me know.

Gary
