I have come up against a problem relating to the number of references on one of my web applications and the length of the path to the source code.
The problem manifests itself by throwing a spurious error when trying to build the web app that truncates the very last aspx.resx file in the app, but it doesn't happen when using studio to build it:

Total time: 34.6 seconds.
I first saw this error some months back and found the solution to be to create a new local drive and map directly to the root of the location of my web apps source code way down file system on C:\ somewhere, hence the G:\ in the example above. This has worked sufficiently well until now, as the system has grown over time and more and more references have been added somekind of internal limit has been reached again.
Please help as this is stopping a team of 20 or so dead until I can resolve it!
