I'm clearly biased since I help write CruiseControl.NET, but I also
recommend the second option. CCNet contains a 'schedule trigger' which
means it isn't *just* for 'Continuous Integration' scenarios (see
http://confluence.public.thoughtworks.org/display/CCNET/Schedule+Trigger)
