Hi, I'm currently working on a script to perform a daily build. For convoluted reasons, I have a separate script that extracts the latest source from the VSS archive, then I use the <exec> task to run the build.bat file for the system. I do this rather than the <nant> task as the build.bat includes some pre-processing to pass parameters to the main build file and so as part of the daily build I need to check this is not broken.
The problem I have, is that if my main build script fails, it seems to hang the <exec> task. Is there a known problem with shelling to batch files which fire off NAnt? If not I'll try to create a repro for it to submit, but I thought I'd check first in case someone already knows the answer. Cheers, Bill UK businesses use 2 million tonnes of paper each year.
