Dustin, Right now, the <solution> task is not supported on Mono/Linux. We are planning on adding support for Mono after the 0.85 release.
The reason why the <solution> task no longer exists if you rebuild NAnt on Mono/Linux is because its actually not built on Mono/Linux.
