Hi, Could anyone advise me the best way to get up to speed with the MSI task. I was looking at an example of how to remove an existing dialog but there seemed to be a large amount of information needed to perform such a task which I could not find in the MSI task documentation. For example the component on a form etc.
I assume I must be missing some Microsoft reference to this information, am I correct? The tasks I want to perform are: 1. Add a program link on the desktop 2. Add a program link in the All Programs menu bar 3. Remove 2 or 3 dialogs and replace with an installation location dialog.
