I've been using the May 25th release with good results, it's the one I would
recommend.

I only started playing with NAnt in February.  With the "found 2004, expected
2003" error, I have NEVER been able to get the "stable" release to work.  

A good technical writer could make bank by writing a NAnt for dummies book.
