Thanks a lot Noel !! This really helped me understand a lot more of NAnt and builds. I’m now working on catching the error or bypassing it with failonerror. The reply you gave me on the other post. Slowly enhance the build script to do more.   It looks like you’re trying to run the exec task and execute devenv.exe.   1) Ensure that you started the Visual Studio .NET Command Prompt window (or have run VCVARS.bat to set up the environment) 2) Place the following script into a .build file in a directory that contains a solution file 3) Modify the file argument value to be the name of your solution file. 4) Run NAnt 5) Look at the Build.Out file to see the results     <project name="Test" default="Default">     <target name="Default" >             <exec program="devenv.exe" verbose="true" >                         <arg file="xxxxxxxxxxxxx.sln" />                         <arg value="/out" />                         <arg value="Build.out" />                         <arg value="/rebuild" />                         <arg value="debug" />             </exec>     </target> </project>   It also looks like you’re trying to run the exec task and execute VSS. Someone told me that it might be because I am running on Win XP pro. BUILD FAILED   Nested build failed.  Refer to build log for exact reason.   Total time: 468.6 seconds.   As from what I can understand here it can’t get source safe and microsoft dev env to run. I’m new with NAnt, just learned it 3 weeks ago for my COOP internship. So trying to debug this is hard for me…but I have been getting a lot of help from you guys…I appreciate.
