Hi
all,
sorry
if this is a repeat - I notice that if I change a project file
(eg: add a new reference, or a custom constant) that is included into a
nant <solution> task, the project (assembly) is not rebuilt... in the
case I'd like to propose that this is, or could be seen as, a
bug.
Context: NAnt 0.85 (Build 0.85.1548.0; net-1.0.win32; nightly;
28-Mar-04)
Example use-cases:
- a dependent assembly reference is updated, yet the project code
files are unchanged (assumes assemblyInfo.vb version numbers are not being
updated when project file changes)
- using custom constants to drive pre-compilation statements: a
change in a custom constant value in the project file can change
the output assembly IL.
Opinions? If it is a bug, can it be
fixed?
Rgds
Garth
