I'm using the <xmlpoke> in our scripts quite a bit - the
only problem is that it won't take an empty value - fails with:
'' is not a valid value for attribute 'value' of <xmlpoke
... />.
An empty value is not allowed.
An example of the script to generate it:
<property name="example.xml.property" value=""/>
<xmlpoke file="${dir.example}\example.config.xml"
xpath="/typical/example" value="${example.xml.property}"/>
Is there a specific reason for this? I think an empty value is
a valid entry in an XML file (we certainly use it a lot here :)
i.e.
<example></example>
as well as
<example>something<\example>
As it stands I've written my own task to do the same thing,
but it'd be nice to use the core tasks where possible.
What do people think?
