as for supporting 2003 files it should be trivial to update it as there are very few differences in the project formats beyond the version numbers. Adding a version argument to slinshot or just letting it handle either shouldn't be too difficult.

Slingshot does not support VS.NET 2003 files. I also belive slingshot is no longer actively supported and has been replaced with the <solution> task in the latest versions of NAnt.

I’m having quite the fun with Slingshot! It calls for sln files of version 7.00.
My sln files are version 8.00 and therefore I’m assuming have a slightly different parse algorithm associated with them.
How would I go about making Slingshot compatible with my sln files of version 8.00? I’m running the latest version of Slingshot and 7.1.3088 of Microsoft Development Environment.
