Thanks for the info on license and a HUGE thanks on the info on log4net!
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for before I started up my
project...I guess it is time to shut the doors on csharp-logger :-).

It is best to include as a ref. That way you are not redist'n old
versions.
 
As for licensing, you are fine. Most of the restrictions on the gpl is
for source/lib inclusion/use. Binary dist is not a problem.
 
On a sep note, what is wrong with log4net (log4j .net port)? It looks
like your project is the same.
