"make host" is supposed to build that, but it has not been updated
to use shared X libraries (that is trivial to fix), and once that is
done it still has issues in getting running correctly, and I don't
believe anyone coded in replacements for say the hardware mpg decoder
so that you could actually test video.   In my limited testing of
it after changing the link to use shared libraries, and adding a
LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the mvpmc shared libraries, it still would not
correctly accept key presses, so was not usable to test.
