I'm trying to discover why mutt seems to take so much longer to send an email after I moved my mail server to a different machine, but I can't work out how mutt interacts with sendmail...
Looking through the mutt executable, I can't see any references to sendmail. My .muttrc does not contain any active references to sendmail, although a few are commented out. So, it's a mystery to me how mutt invokes sendmail. Can anyone explain it? I am using an old version of mutt under OS/2, but I would expect the normal process for sending mail to be the same... -- John
