Nice! Though I use simply:

macro pager \cb |w3m\n 'call w3m to extract URLs out of a message'
macro index \cb |w3m\n 'call w3m to extract URLs out of a message'

which uses w3m to do that (and w3m in turn can also call Netscape et.
al. if necessary). Only thing you need to do is to press `:' once w3m
is up to change text URLs to live URLs.
