I don't agree.  I've been using the same xterm binary for a long time,
apparently the timestamp says "Aug 4 1997".  I used to get this problem
with Mutt, but I don't anymore.  Unfortunately it disappeared awhile ago
and I forget to take notes, but I think it's related to me either
upgrading Mutt, or upgrading my curses library (both of which I've done
since I started Mutt-ing).

If it was purely a terminal problem, then neither of the above could fix
the problem.  Or anything else, except a change of the terminal program.
