Thanks, https://bugs.launchpad.net/mudlet/+bug/1322753 does look to be the same/similiar.
My previous experience with $ in the username was a year or so back. It wasn't starting the name, someone had created a user and replaced an 's' in the middle of it with a $. It appears it's not just the presence of a $, it's many special characters. You group-say 'It's going to be the path /users/username/.config' You group-say 'if 'username' has something funky in it that might cause problems' You group-say 'Does your windows username have any special characters in it?' You group-say 'in particular a dollar sign?' Sobes group-says 'I think that Root profile is named in Russian' Sobes tells you 'yea, username is in win1251 codepage' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mudlet/+bug/1674350/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~mudlet-makers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~mudlet-makers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
