University of Aveiro, Aveiro, Portugal, 16 - 18 October 2025 https://worldcem.org/ <https://mkt.saisti.eu/got/c0fd5734e2OOTeazM> [email protected] __________________________________________________________ The WorldCEM'25 – The 2025 World Conference on Economics and Management, to be held at University of Aveiro, Aveiro, Portugal, 16-18 October 2025, is a global forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, results, experiences and concerns in the several perspectives of economics and Management. We are pleased to invite you to submit your original papers to WorldCEM'25. All submissions will be reviewed based on relevance, originality, importance and clarity. Themes Submitted papers should be related with one or more of the main themes proposed for the Conference: 1. Macroeconomics and Economic Policy 2. Microeconomics and Market Behavior 3. Financial Markets and Investment 4. Business Strategy and Corporate Governance 5. Innovation and Entrepreneurship 6. Marketing and Consumer Research 7. Operations and Supply Chain Management 8. Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior 9. Sustainability and Environmental Economics 10. Data Science and AI in Business and Economics 11. Public Sector and Non-Profit Management 12. International Business and Trade Submissions and Decisions Submitted papers (until 12-page limit) must comply with the format rules of Studies in Systems, Decision and Control book series (see Instructions for Authors at Springer Website), be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese, must not have been published before, not be under review for any other conference or publication and not include any information leading to the authors’ identification. Therefore, the authors’ names, affiliations and bibliographic references should not be included in the version for evaluation by the Scientific Committee. This information should only be included in the camera-ready version, saved in Word (or Latex format) and also in PDF format. These files must be accompanied by the Copyright form filled out, in a ZIP file, and this one uploaded at the conference management system. All papers will be subjected to a “double-blind review” by at least two members of the Scientific Committee. Based on Scientific Committee evaluation, a paper can be rejected or accepted by the Conference Chairs. In the later case, it can be accepted as paper or poster. Papers accepted as posters are not published. The authors of accepted papers will have 15 minutes to present their work in a Conference Work Session; approximately 5 minutes of discussion will follow each presentation. The authors of papers accepted as posters must build and print a poster to be exhibited during the Conference. This poster must follow an A1 or A2 vertical format. The Conference can include Work Sessions where these posters are presented and orally discussed, with a 7 minute limit per poster. Publication and Indexing To ensure that a paper accepted is published and presented, at least one of the authors must be fully registered by the 27th of July 2025, and the paper must comply with the suggested layout and page-limit. Additionally, all recommended changes must be addressed by the authors before they submit the camera-ready version. No more than one paper per registration will be published. An extra fee must be paid for publication of additional papers, with a maximum of one additional paper per registration. One registration permits only the participation of one author in the conference. Papers written in English, accepted and registered will be published in the Springer's Studies in Systems, Decision and Control book series, submitted for indexation by Scopus, WoS, Google Scholar, among others, and made available in the SpringerLink Digital Library. Papers written in Spanish or Portuguese and accepted and registered will be published by ITMA in a book with ISBN and will be submitted for possible indexation by Scopus and WoS, among others. The authors of the best selected papers will be invited to extend them for publication in international journals indexed by WoS/SCI/SSCI and Scopus. Important Dates Paper Submission: June 15, 2025 Notification of Acceptance: July 20, 2025 Payment of Registration, to ensure the inclusion of an accepted paper in the conference proceedings: July 20, 2025.
