Access 2000, Developers edition, was supplied with a runtime module and a
licence to install this with databases on other computers.
I'n not aware that there are any for later versions of Access.

Sir,
I do not know if it is true of MS ACCESS, but some programs have what is
called a "runtime" module that will allow a program to be run but not
created of the user-receiver's system. For example, Microsoft has a free MS
Power Point viewer that lets the user view the Power Point presentations but
is not capable of making new presentations. There was a similar program for
the old Emerald Bay database -- much like the DOS dBASE III. I have never
really gone looking for and MS ACCESS runtime module. I too would very much
like to have one.
A database runtime module might or might not allow users to add data to an
existing database.

I have an Access File that I would like to distribute to people who do not
have MS Access on there computer. Does anyone know what is required? What
are the issues? What are the obstacles to be aware of?

Thanks!

Ruel
