Hey Javier and Antón, this is Simon, the Thunderbird localization
coordinator.

The reason these results differ is most likely, that the dashboard
result that you cite comes from the 1.9.1 l10n branch aka
http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n-mozilla-1.9.1/gl/ while you are
probably doing your local compare-locales run against
http://hg.mozilla.org/l10n-central/gl/ which hosts the l10n files for
the next Firefox/Thunderbird releases after Firefox 3.5 or Thunderbird 3
respectively.

Same reason as above. The files are there, but in
http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n-mozilla-1.9.1/gl/mail

You might want to look at syncing those two repositories. These two
posts by Axel Hecht (Pike) explain how to do it properly:

http://groups.google.de/group/mozilla.dev.l10n/browse_thread/thread/a49e49518480c022/2d8d5b71e1513316#2d8d5b71e1513316
http://groups.google.de/group/mozilla.dev.l10n/browse_thread/thread/66f7889b465f9ae3/7dc4f299ac3834b0#7dc4f299ac3834b0

although it may be that those two repositories can no longer be synced
since it seems that you made independent commits to both repositories.

Axel, is that correct?
