I'm not sure if you've seen it, but we did a reorganization of the front page and topics yesterday.
http://developer-test.mozilla.org/docs/Main_Page
I hadn't; in fact I didn't even know devmo had anything started yet, as the top-level index is just a placeholder page now with no indication that anything's happening on the site. Perhaps putting up a link to /docs/ might be a good idea?
This reorganization in mind, your Help System docs would probably fit in the following sections:
Primary: Application and Component Framework Secondary: Extensions Secondary: Mozilla as a Platform
How about creating a page for it at [[Application and Component Framework:Help System]], and then linking to that from whatever other places seem appropriate?
Sounds good to me (with the modified name suggested later down the original response chain). I've *briefly* started on the content for [[Help Viewer]], and I hope to move the content over from the project site sometime soon. I'm thinking that looks like a good thing for me to do after the 1.1 l10n freeze when there aren't quite so many pressing things to do.
Anyway, after looking at your suggestions, I'm thinking it might be a good idea to make the page sort of a sub-page of the XULRunner stuff. Pretty much all of what's in mozilla/toolkit/components and much of mozilla/toolkit/mozapps in source code right now would fit there.
In any case from most of what I've seen so far, we're moving old content and then seeding new content with stuff in outline format, so it'll be a little bit before we have to give it too much thought.
