R. J. Keller and I are working on a version of the Help Browser for Firebird and other applications. Here are the current ideas for discussion:

* Help's default content will be "Help on Help".
* Each application will have its own Help content pack.
* Since cross-browser compatibility is not a factor, XHTML is being used for markup with CSS for style. If there is interest in it, we may be able to use DOCBOOK or other XML-based languages as well. Thoughts on that?
* Help will probably be an extension included by defaults with our applications (though this hasn't been officially discussed as to how this will work).
