So should those of us who like the current system pretend we didn't see
your plans to convert to Zope?  (That's pretty much what I've been
doing.)

To be more detailed (in response to your two points above):

 * I don't think we want a low barrier to entry.  We want documentation
   to be written by people who know what they're talking about, namely,
   the developers.  The developers know how to use CVS, so it's one
   fewer thing to learn.

 * What kind of discussion do you want?  How would it be useful?  We
   need a repository for reliable information that's more authoritative
   than newsgroup responses.  If the website replaces the newsgroups,
   then we'll need something to replace the website.  Is what we really
   need good archival of the newsgroups on the web, and a good search
   index?
