mosh only resolves the hostname once - at initial startup. From that point on, it uses the cached destination IP address. That explains your problem, Eugene, and it probably explains AnonJoe's problem.

(There is work on supporting multiple addresses, which is something that is also going to be needed for IPv6 support, but it's not close to release yet.)

Is there a debug mode in mosh ?
