Yes, an analysis of shape variation ignores size unless you want to, for
example,  look at the relationship between shape and size__________________F.

[email protected] Subject: [MORPHMET2] Scale in TPS affects procrustes
analyses and PCA? Hi all,I am still learning the ropes to geometric
morphometrics and so I am hoping this question isn't a huge burden!I have
images where I cannot set a scale when I place landmarks and I want to double
check that I am right in thinking that this isn't a huge deal because once I
run generalized procrustes analysis, the size factor is removed anyway? So
using the gpa coordinates to run a PCA would be the same whether the raw data
had a set scale or not? Am I on the right track?Thank you!Bailey
