Dear all, This invitation is interesting for those of you working on mammals. It is our pleasure to announce the 97th Annual Meeting of the Society of Mammalian Biology (DGS) from 2nd to 6th September 2024 in Munich at the Palaeontological Museum.
The Munich organizing team cordially invites you to this year's DGS conference, which is designed as a cross-disciplinary event to consider mammalogical issues in both a microecological / microevolutionary and macroecological / macroevolutionary context. It is intended to provide a forum for exchange among mammalogists from neontology, archaeozoology and palaeontology in order to discover interfaces in questions and methodology and to stimulate future collaborations in the sense of a transdisciplinary, more holistic gain in knowledge about the biology of mammals with a view into the deep past and the transitional area to the Anthropocene. This year's main topics will be "Mammals and Grasslands" and the "European hedgehog". Of course, as every year, there will also be space for free topics. Please visit our website https://www.geobio-center.uni-muenchen.de/agenda/upcoming-events/97th-annual-meeting/. Abstracts can be submitted at https://www.conftool.org/dgs2024/ until 19th May. We are happy to accept suggestions for workshops. Looking forward to welcoming you in Munich in September Gertrud Rößner, Anneke van Heteren, Nadja Pöllath -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Morphmet" group.
