Hi All, I am analysing mammal skull shape and have currently digitised landmarks on 50 specimens in Stratovan Checkpoint, using 3 templates: fixed landmark template, curve landmark template and a surface landmark template.
I am hoping to use either 'Morpho' or 'geomorph' in R, to slide my semilandmarks (both curves and surfaces semilandmarks). I am facing an issue that I am hoping someone could please help with. In all the documentation/tutorials I have found for Morpho, to use the slider3d function, you have a template specimen with the surface semilandmarks, that are then projected and slid onto the other 3D surface specimens, using the atlas and patching procedure. However, I have already placed these semilandmarks on surfaces in Checkpoint and instead, want the surface semilandmarks I have placed in Checkpoint to be slid in this sliding procedure using slider3d (or another suitable function?). Has anyone done this before and if so, could you please send me in the right direction for a function to use, or any publications that have manually placed their surface semilandmarks prior to a sliding procedure in R? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kate -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Morphmet" group.
