Yes, that's the plan. I cannot comment whether it will be better than Agisoft, as I don't have access to it so I can't compare. Our pipeline is based on OpenDroneMapping framework. The URL i pasted is a public one, you shouldn't need to login. It should display the point cloud as generated by ODM, and you can then map the texture using the controls on the left panel.
