Dear All

I need help to calculate Procrustes distances for matching symmetry. For object symmetry, Dr. Vida Jojić computed Procrustes distances from the symmetric component of shape variation to estimate the level of canalization. In matching symmetry I have:

  1. Procrustes distances between each specimen and reference,
  2. Procrustes distances between each specimen R and L side.

Now, which distances can I use? Or there another way?

I hope I find the answer.

Jojić V, Blagojević J, Vujošević M. B chromosomes and cranial variability in yellow-necked field mice (Apodemus flavicollis). J Mammal. 2011;92(2):396–406.

Thanks in Advance
