IDAV Landmark editor is no longer maintained, and the latest version is about 15 years old. If you are just starting to do 3D geometrics morphometrics and landmarking, I would encourage you to take a minute or two to look 3D Slicer open source biomedical visualization package, and the SlicerMorph extension we developed for it.
