Hello everyone,

I am trying to compare the shape of hummingbirds' bill using photos from
the dorsal view. I digitized semi-landmarks on both sides of the bill,
delimited by landmarks. Then, I performed a semilandmark superimposition in
tpsRelw. I understand that the next step is to symmetrize the semilandmarks
since the bill is a structure with object symmetry. I've tried to do it in
MorphoJ, but when I input my superimposed coordinates file, I'm not able to
symmetrize without performing a GPA again.
I´m concerned that the second GPA will alter the effects of the sliding
process from the first GPA.
Is it ok to perform a regular GPA on data that has already been
superimposed using semilandmarks?

I would be very grateful if someone could give me advice on what I should
do.

Regards
