In response to an earlier post about processing NextEngine scans in Meshlab, I have written a tutorial explaining some tools and a workflow for editing, aligning, and merging scans exported from ScanStudio. Sometimes ScanStudio can be frustrating during the editing and processing phases, so Meshlab is a free alternative that works really well.
