Pretty simple questions, to which the manual and various Google searches provide no answers. Is there a list archive? I imagine this has been asked before. I wonder if anyone who is familiar with the source code and randomisation techniques can tell me how it stacks up against other mathematical 'random' number generator in simulating unpredictable reuslts. (I am aware that there is no such thing as a 'true' computer randomiser.) Also, many programming languages allow me to seed the generator so that given the same starting point, and the same sequence of range requests, the generator can be induced to reproduce its own resutls. Can I do this to the LambdaMOO randomiser?
Thanks.
