I think that we could create disco#info 'var' values (URNs) for each feature combination, such as: urn:xmpp:sift:message urn:xmpp:sift:presence urn:xmpp:sift:recipients:all urn:xmpp:sift:senders:others urn:xmpp:sift:payloads:qnames Just a thought. :)
