Hello iOS'ers, tl;dr: git fetch; git checkout v8.x; git rebase origin/v8.x
Earlier this week we decided to update our v8.x branch by resetting it to our latest master as almost all of the changes on master would have required an uplift. If you're actively working on the v8.x you will need to update your local git copy of the branch with updated version on Github.
