Hi Richard, I think you're looking for an architectural overview, breakdown of components, etc. No such documentation exists, as far as I know. Your best bet is to read the code, which is quite well commented, and should yield quite readily to the usual code exploration techniques. I hope others will chime in with resources I've forgotten!
