Hey everyone! After updating to Firefox 47 (In beta currently) we saw the Firefox icon disappear from home screens. This happened with Nightly, Aurora and Beta. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1268455
The reason for this was that we modified our <activity-alias>. I restored the previous entry and this patch will be in the next Nightly version. One side effect is that after updating to a version with this patch the launcher icons will disappear once more (in Nightly and Aurora, Beta after uplifting). This is unpleasant but it will prevent us from removing ourselves from all home screens with the release version. Sebastian
