Hey all. The Android front-end met today and figured out how to approach Project Building-With-Gradle-Everywhere:
Step 1 – assigned to liuche: get `--with-gradle` working [1]. Both ahunt & liuche tried this in the past and it broke during the packaging step so we'll have to fix this before we begin. Step 2a – mcomella: > * set up Task Cluster jobs for building --with-gradle and without gradle. > Step 2b (concurrent with 2a) – liuche: > * test that single locale l10n repacks work locally as much as possible > Step 3 – we'll talk to QA once the previous steps are complete: > * manually test upgrades across the different build configurations. > Step 4 – we'll also figure this out when we get here: > * flip the switch and watch for fallout! > fwiw, I found the existing meta bug [2] with some other open issues (that we should probably investigate) – let's use that to track our progress.
