No, it's exactly the same — it just has all the mechanisms and storage
sophistication under the hood to sync bidirectionally.

The behavior will be the same as now: the client will robustly mirror the
contents of the server into local storage, and will do what it can to try
to show a bookmark folder hierarchy from that data. Local bookmarks will be
editable, and server bookmarks will be read-only.
