Following our branching model, the v3.x branch was just created: https://github.com/mozilla/firefox-ios/tree/v3.x
master is now for work that will ship as v4.0. The README and version numbers have already been updated. Work landing on master should now have Target Milestone set to 4.0. Work that needs to be uplifted to 3.0 now needs to land in both branches, with appropriate approval.
