Great news Jonathan! Keith, I would go ahead side by side with the BMIT offer. Nothing stops us from operating two PoP boxes at this stage. Naming would be something of the sort anyway based on the following rules taken from the SiXXS site: PoP Naming Scheme
PoPs are named according to UN/LOCODE<http://www.unece.org/cefact/locode/service/> in the format of a two letter country code followed by a three letter city code and a two digit sequence number. and http://www.unece.org/cefact/locode/mt.htm MTRMI01 for the BMIT PoP and MTMSD01 for the University PoP It makes sense to relocate the box to the first provider that gives us bandwidth so that: 1) we can go ahead and start the groundwork of the project 2) avoid losing another potential provider due to loss of interest 3) we get our feet wet ASAP to start fixing things Jonathan, what is the next step with regards to BMIT for us to go ahead with the project ? -- Raphael On Sun, Jan 16, 2011 at 11:26 AM, Keith Vassallo <[email protected]> wrote: > Hey Guys, > > First of all sorry for not being there yesterday but I have a bad cold. > > Secondly, this is great Jonathan!
