Just a simple guide and to download would be at: http://www.documentfoundation.org/ It turns out whoever owns open office is pulling the plug on the project, but dont wry there is a fork of OO called libre office which is moving forward rapidly on development, and is already available for download. im on the mailing lists and wish i had more time to contribute. --
