To recap, when I upgraded from Ubuntu 8.10 to 9.04. OpenOffice 3.1
didn't work so I went back to 3.01. I subsequently did a clean upgrade
of the 64 bit. 9.04 Ubuntu, still with its default 00o 3.01.

As I like to try out new things, Yesterday I downloaded 00o 3.1 from the
Sun Micro site and installed it successfully. It just took a few tweaks
to get it up and running good.

Later in the day I was checking out Ubuntu Forums and there was quit a
bit on how to install 00o 3.1, but not the way I had done it ! Well,
that's what is great about Linux there are usually different ways to
achieve the same thing.

If anyone needs help with installing 00o 3.1 in Ubuntu, let me know.
